Organic Maple Sugar – Half Pound – Grade A Our Maple Sugar is made from our Handcrafted, All Natural, Wood-Fired Organic Maple Syrup.
It is produced on our Farm, located deep in the Appalachian Valley Great Lakes Region of Pennsylvania.
Organic Maple Sugar only has one ingredient, the Sap from Maple Trees.
BUT there is a difference between Organic and Non- Organic maple syrup.
This inspection had to be done before we were approved by OEFFA to be certified organic.
Certifying our Farm organic means that we do not use any chemicals or pesticides nor do the neighboring lands.
We work very hard at producing the finest quality organic maple syrup at our farm for your table and ours.
It is hand-packed for freshness and exceptional flavor at our farm for your table.
If you are looking for a healthy and delicious way to enhance your recipes try substituting Organic Maple Sugar into your favorite recipe instead of granulated sugar.
Non-Organic We always get the question “What’s not organic about Maple Syrup”? For the most part, I tend to believe that all maple syrup producers make their maple syrup with the upmost integrity.
This also means that we will be inspected regularly and audited.
We do not use chemicals in maple syrup tapping, production or cleaning.
In order for us to label our maple syrup as “Certified Organic” we had to first apply and go through a thorough inspection of all our sugarbushes, sap gathering points, neighboring lands, our sugarhouse and all equipment, our commercial kitchen areas, our handling and packaging practices, our bookkeeping methods, etc.
